We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our services.
  • Process transactions and send related information.
  • Send you technical notices, updates, and support messages.
  • Respond to your comments and questions.

3. Information Sharing

We may share your information with third-party vendors, consultants, and other service providers who need access to such information to carry out work on our behalf.

4. Location Data

Our mobile applications collect precise location data (including background location for the mechanic app) to operate the service. Specifically:

  • Customer app: We use your device location to match you with nearby mechanics, route the assigned mechanic to your service address, and show estimated arrival times. Location is only accessed while you are using the app or with an active service request.
  • Mechanic app: We collect foreground and background location to dispatch nearby jobs, share live ETA with the customer during travel, verify on-site arrival, calculate mileage for payouts, and meet safety and compliance requirements. Background location is collected only while the mechanic is on shift or actively assigned to an order.
  • Storage and sharing: Location data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on our servers only as long as needed to operate, audit, and improve the service. We share location with the counterparty of an active order (e.g., the customer sees the mechanic's live location) and with service providers such as Google Maps for routing. We do not sell location data, and we do not use it for advertising.
  • Your controls: You can revoke location permission at any time in your device settings. Disabling location will prevent core features (matching, routing, dispatch, ETA, payouts) from working. You may also request deletion of stored location history by contacting privacy@novorepairs.com.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.

6. Your Choices

You may update, correct, or delete information about you at any time by logging into your online account or contacting us.
